So what exactly is meant by that; force update? I did delete it completely and install anew. Still getting: [DOUBLEPOST=1457142782,1457141330][/DOUBLEPOST]btw ... I'm using AT Launcher
Edit: Deleted my repetitive non-sense. What I did try was hard-deleting the instance directory itself and reinstalled the pack. I'll download the offending mods directly and see if that does it ...[DOUBLEPOST=1457143873,1457143095][/DOUBLEPOST]Mod versions are the same as the ones I downloaded. No change.[DOUBLEPOST=1457145179][/DOUBLEPOST]Just curious, is anyone else able to connect after the latest update?
Perhaps I am missing something, but can't he just delete the rejected mods from the folder in order to connect?
Not sure if sarcasm. Of course I can start gutting the mod pack. Are you being serious?[DOUBLEPOST=1457149103][/DOUBLEPOST]I wouldn't want to play the pack if it was crippled. Anyhow, for the lulz, I removed the mods and still get the kick. I'll move onto something else for now ... the pack is rather unstable atm.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are mods that were removed in the update. So whitelisting them would simply mean he has more mods than everyone else, and stop him from connecting?
Not sure. Haven't checked the changelog for the last update on cteam. Him having more mods wouldn't make a difference most likely, he just wouldn't be able to use them. -V
there is an update for C-team that hasn't been pushed onto the servers yet. that's what the problem is so could we just update the C-team server please to the newest verson? btw the server is run off of 0.4.5 as of right now and 0.4.6 just came out
Will need to wait until someone gets around to updating it. I don't have backend as of now so I can't update it currently. Rolling back a version should work to fix his client for now. -V
Thank you, this all makes sense now. I thought I was missing something glaring on my end. I did try on 4 other multiplayer servers and they all fail for other reasons, mostly null pointer references.
If you can not play on the pack after the update, you go to the launcher and press reinstall under instances. Under versions, click version 0.4.5 (should be second from the top) and wait for the pack to reinstall, you should be able to play after that.[DOUBLEPOST=1457243001,1457242950][/DOUBLEPOST]Reinstalling does not make you lose progress, just in case you were worrying.
I'm good now. AT Launcher let's you choose a previous version w/o reinstalling. I'm guessing once the server version is updated we will have some sort of notification, even if it manifests as a failure to load the previous version. Thanks
Will mark this as done seeming as it's solved. Feel free to reopen the topic if you have any further issues. -V
You can check the C-team Changelog to know when there is any major change being made to the server. The changelog will always have any server updates posted there
