I know you guys have control of the mym launcher.
Can you add a Vive mod such as "ViveCraft" to the packs?

Why not manually add the vive mods?

As Chugga said, you can manually add it to your pack. If you need help with that, let us know what launcher your using and i'll post some instructions.

The only thing is, if the server is not running vivecraft as well, the 5 second teleport delay will make it unplayable for any vivecraft user ^^ as it's the main method of movement.
A vivecraft player pretty much needs unlimited /tp, or the vivecraft mod on the serverside for the alternate teleporting it provides.

"Arc teleportation, with optional limitations for a balanced Survival-mode experience."
"Similar to other games you aim a parabolic arc at your target destination and will be teleported to it instantly. In survival mode the use of the teleporter will cause hunger and has an energy meter that refills over time."
    Those limitations don't seem fun.

    What limitations?
The teleportation is to avoid motion sickness. the hunger is no different then if you are running/jumping in vanilla.

We could try it out on one server. Who does own a vive and on which server would you like to test it?

I own one, I'm up for any server to be honest just to help test. Right now mostly playing DW20 (both 1.7 and 1.10, and project ozone 2 normal)

I don't mean full vivecraft, the TPing on any skyblock would be instant death.

    All I really want:
    1) Vive support so I can view things in 3D (while still using mouse/keyboard).
    2) Head needs to turn without turning rest of body (like in ark, not a spacesuit).

The tping is optional, you can still move normally too, it just gives a lot of people motion sickness. also I would say it actually makes skyblocks a little easier, as you can see where you will end up with the tp ;)

The head turning for others without the rest of the body requires full vivecraft. Iirc there is also a seperate mod that shows hand movements, but that might be a bit over the top.

Personally I have zero interest in using it with keyboard and mouse, so I do hope it'll be the full vivecraft support.
If you just want to use it with kb/mouse you can indeed install it locally and just use it on any server already.

Talked with Creator of Vivecraft and there is no way to decouple head and body movements.
Other issue: with keyboard and mouse crouching does not lower view so walking on skyblock edges can be a problem.

If we have a mym server running vivecraft/other-VR-mod let me know.

Hm, I couldn't find a mod/plugin for 1.7.10. Is that only available for 1.10 or did I miss something?

That one is not actually vivecraft. that is an additional vivecraft mod that shows head/arm movements.

The main vivecraft mod I linked above your post, does not require everyone on the server to have it :)

But that is a installation file for the client which creates a new minecraft profile and it is not implemented as a mod.
