Info Color Blind mode for Thaumcraft

If you are like me and are color blind this may help you.
In the Thaumcraft.cfg there is a line that you can set to true

# Setting this to true will make certain colors higher contrast or darker to prevent them from being 'invisible' to color blind people.
B:color_blind=false


For me i have a hard time with Reds and greens.
This setting helped me play Thaumcraft

If you are unsure if your color blind you can take a test here.
There are a few test, Ishihara is a good start

I just tried the test.. not colorblind or anything.. I just like tests.
but I am unsure if that is a troll test or if it's really bugged..
I get the first pic.. and answer it. I get the second image answer and all is good..
but then the third pic shows up with noting I can see.. when I answer that I get a error message saying that I have to read instructions again or I'm so colourblind I can't be helped kinda thing..
I did both a lol and a rofl.. and I tried all the different answers.. then I tried until I felt stupid for trying to many times with the same result. Did another lol at that point.. I really wanted to know if I have full on technicolor or what.. now I just want to finish this post.. I'm not to strong on the finishing my post before its a book. But I like books.. They are there when u want them there and gone when u don't want them there, they are simple in function and don't require Constantly being charged, and you can see what's in a book in bright sunlight.. also books are good for many things.. You can sit on them, stand on them, support a table/chair with broken leg. Build a house with them or just a dog house.. The books don't care if you drop them from 1 feet onto soft dirt"no screen breakage" also.. books don't need updated software and anti virus.. It won't mess with your Head saying things like " java.lang.fatal.f.up.hard. In hdd c: do you want to proceed and screw more.. or cancel and lose all your fine computer work you just did? press ok for any answer "
Or "your screen just turned blue and it's your own fault. data loss commencing in 2.65 sec"
Books just don't do that to you ever.. in the history of everything always.. books just do what they do without you having to worry about the latest version of this or that.. A book 10year old and a book 100 year old do the exact same thing in the exact same way as a 1 Month old book..
unlike a mac book "those are not real books they have thingmajiggys in them" nasty thingmajiggys that will most certainly fail before they even get a year old.. and if they don't fail on you it will be old and outdated in less Than a year anyways.. now its 04.48 here and I'm tired..
think I'm gonna finish this wall right here so you ppl don't have to strain your reading nerves all to hard with my jibberish and going ons with books and mac books. No I will not bother you with such nonsense for much longer.. I will just have to say that books are good.. color blindness seems difficult to live with at times.. and mac books are not real books..
Apple can say what they want I ain't buying there excuse of a book..

Oh. I got even more tired writing this so now I'm really going to sleep..

E[DOUBLEPOST=1418010814,1418010009][/DOUBLEPOST]I just did the test again.. and it seems to have sort of a bug or some flaw when taken on a mobile device. I use a Samsung galaxy note 8.0 android pad..
and wen I get the error if I press the button to start the test it sends me back to warm up. If press my back button to exit the test it actually starts.. and I have full on technicolor it seems.. Wich is good news I guess..err.. not news maybe.. but who cares right?

So I'm gonna end my Lil hijack here..
and say good on thaumcraft developer to put in options for colorblind..

i think the statistics are 10% of males are some form of Red- Green Color blind.
The Ishihara Test is not a troll, its for real. Maybe try it when you get to your PC.
If your not seeing any numbers on the 3rd one your may have some form of color blindness.
Color blind doesnt mean you see black and white, it means your eyes cant see some shades of certain colors.

That was a proper test same test they used in the military..
and I have not gotten colorblind since last time I took that test 10year ago
I don't know if one can become colorblind overtime or from damage to the eye?

is there a goggle or filter one can use to experience how it is to be colorblind?

 

You are born with it but you can also become color blind over time.
I wasnt born color blind, like you i took a test for the military about 10 years ago, i wasnt color blind,
In a recent check up to the eye doctor i found out i was.

Nobody is perfect, me too with my normal (not color modifying) goggels it's all fine without it was saying red green weird test...

thats a legit color blind test. you would be suprized on how many people are.
10% of Caucasian males are Red/ green color blind

 

But with a normal goggle to get ~ zero diopter there is nothing and without there is?

This is very possible, The way our eyes "see" color is from the light spectrum. the goggles may allow you to see the differant rays.

 

They aren't tinted at all. They are like a normal goggle from your next goggle store. Completely clear just a bit configured so I get zero dioptri.

 

thats weird, check the video above, its a nice little bit of info. Also on a monitor it may not be 100% accurate.

If your like me, some of them have nothing on them, just colors. thats when i hit next without putting a number
