Done Copper Gears

I am trying to make a pulverizer, the pulverizer requires 2 copper gears (4347:128) wich are made in the smeltery using a gear cast and 4 copper ingots, but when i cast it into the mold, i get a different kind of copper gear(5329) wich i cant use to make what i need

Apparently you can still make it, it just doesnt show the item in the crafting grid

well, when you look at the pulverizer reciepe in nei it doesnt cycle through all the different copper gears

 

There should be an exchange at spawn for the gears if memory serves. NEI issue is out of our hands really, but since you made your pulverizers I'll go ahead and mark this one done

We have the gear exchange for the quest, so if it really was an issue, we got you covered!

 

That's the problem with new players on AS2, evriday i must tell them they can use forestry gears in recipe but result dont show and evritim they thank me for this trick i learned by another nice player there.

Maybe add announcment about gears? That we can still use forestry gears to craft machines but recipe result dont show and simpli click blank slot.

 

Why not add a customized recipe with the other gear for all those machines? Or even simpler, add a recipe that transforms one gear into another.

well if the recipe doesnt show the result, then people get confused, so that recipe would help.
