Just before the restart at 19:00 (GMT+1) a hacker teleported everyone to a bedrock room filled with creative spikes. Many people including myself have lost quite a bit of valuable gear. I am dumping screenshots of the playerlist and whatever else I could collect before the server went down. The coordinates of the killing room was X=78.5 Y=61.1 Z=-9.500. Several death messages appeared saying 'X failed to become the guy'.
Yeah I experienced this. I was to confused to take any screen shots. Have draconic armour so didn't get killed but after teleporting away it teleported me right back so I logged off. Glad someone managed to get all the information.
This incident happened to all of us the day before too .. some reason this hacker keeps getting back on. First as i know of he was "Crabbyfrog" then "Creativefrog" - i sense a theme. BTW, i think it was yesterday or the day before .. but someone called "frog" something attacked me then teleported me inside a tree and when i expressed concern to the MOD and everyone else, they all shunned me and acted like i was crazy - guess what, maybe not so much now.
I got hit by this incident as well, I had the same message of X(my name) failed to become the guy. Lost a lot of items in my inventory. I put the issue in front of staff which hopped on figuring out what happened, but have not issued a rollback or let the community know what is going to happen. That way the community does not know whether or not we can really play without losing progress AKA rollback. A response on the issue from staff would much appreciated.
Yeah I totally agree with what you said VortexWinds. I have not been on MYM long so please forgive me if I have the wrong end of the stick but I am surprised at the lack of information coming from the administrators of the network.
We will issue an announcement when we have an announcement to issue, and that wont happen untill we make a decision about what to do.
FYI .. ever since, lets say "the responsible party" did what he or she did .. i keep getting timeouts and kicked like every 5 minutes. Other servers like b-team or crash landing, there are no problems.
yes plz the player files are wat we all want the most as thats the worst part to loss as its unfair for others to loss stuff they built from a server rollback
Thank you @SirWill, I would like to have my playerdata reset to the earliest possible save. I am offline at work right now but I have emptied my inventory so my character is ready to be reset.
exact same thing is happening again NOW exact same death message etc, please rollback this time? i had just finished getting my stuff back....
@Peace7904 it stopped after about 2-3 min or so, might have started again after, idk, i left when i stopped
