hey i have a me system that uses autocrafting but it seems to have started to cause lag spikes. is there any way to have autocrafting without the lag or at least reduce the lag?

Okay i will look in to it for you see if there is anyway of auto crafting and keeping lag down, i understand you are currently using AE2 crafting?

Also what launcher is direwolf on? it may be that i have to come on and have a look at your layout

I have looked into it have you tried cyclic assembler from thermal expansion, it can be a pain but it doesn't cause me any lag for me i have only tested it on single player with a small lag machine on, this is on the 1.6.4 dierwolf2o on ftb launcher as i wanted to speed this up as quick as i can and i already had the ftb launcher if it doesn't work then you could always try build craft auto workbench this is slow but does the job for small things, i also believe that Mine factory reloaded has a auto crafting machine, if you think the lag is due to the AE2 auto crafting maybe it could be with the size of the auto crafting unit. You could also go on to creative single player and get creative with some ideas that other players have made or maybe combine them if you have the know how (not trying to be offensive)

ok ill try it but tbh i think so long as i have a small autocrafting system there should be little lag

Yeah that should be okay if you have a small crafting setup

    Hello,

I have gone ahead and visited your base but I don't really see anything that might be causing any kind of lag? Everything seems fine to me, the only thing that I would remove are the cable anchors, but that's because I am not someone who uses them.

In addition to that, I wouldn't really use storage busses either in your system as I found them in a really weird way. You can just connect your me cable to your me drive, I don't see you using the bus either so I don't think it is required there.

Beside that everything seems to be fine. If you want you can read our wiki on the performance for Applied Energistics via this link.

Also, if you speak about spikes? Do you see your me system showing up as the most laggiest one or does it show up in the AE lag list? If it is showing up in the AE lag list then that can happen if your system is doing a lot at the same time especially when crafting, so small crafting orders are the solution to that.

To finish up, I think the performance will be much better if you remove these storage busses and interfaces from your me drives.

Feel free to ask additional questions.

the buses allow me to expand the storage without problem and i did come to the conclusion to only to do small autocrafting orders on my me system but thank you for your input i really do appreciate it[DOUBLEPOST=1475936330][/DOUBLEPOST]also yes my me system was appearing on the lagging list but only when i have my autocrafting system larger than what i have it now
