    MineYourMind (international) v.2.0

    Big changes for the MineYourMind Community and Servers. We will add/change the stuff step by step, in order to avoid stacking of issues until we drown. ;)

    :30-51: Own Launcher (mineyourmind.net)
    :12: small step away from the dependency of the modpack authors
    :12: cleaner launcher
    :12: more possible ways to fix stuff
    :12: less problems with selecting the right modpacks
    :12: more client mods (we got permission from voxel for their litemods :) )
    :12: possibility to overwrite client configs
    :12: possibliity to add own recipes which show on the nei -> please tell us all broken recipes and items you can't get that we can add recipes for them
    :12: possibility to fix stuff client side
    :12: possibility to update mods before ftb does (in case of serious bug problems, but we want to keep the servers ftb launcher compatible as long as possible)
    :12: possibility to provide texturepacks
    :12: more custom stuff
    :12: possibility of own modpacks

    Does the music plugin you have on the homepage support a volume control? cause while the music sounds great it's also a bit loud on its default volume.

    Also, how can I forcibly disable the ArmorStatusHUD mod from the Monster modpack? since if I add ".disabled" on the end of the ArmorStatusHUD.zip file the launcher just downloads another copy of it :/

    Perhaps you could move it to the optional mods popup like the map mods?

    You have to go in the launcher and remove it from the list.

    I'm talking about the new MyM launcher, it doesn't have a way to selectively disable anything other than the map mods atm, though I just spoke to SirWilli about it on TS and he says he will add it to the optional mods list.

    yeah we can make it optional. on the website you can only pause/play the music, the volume is normal (-3db).[DOUBLEPOST=1397493684,1397493078][/DOUBLEPOST]
    btw. why do you want to disable it?[DOUBLEPOST=1397493701][/DOUBLEPOST]
    you can just import them.

    1. the default location for the armorHUD is bottom right (changed from bottom left so it doesn't overlap the chat (which incidentally is why you have a thread in the horizons tutorial section about how to disable it..)) but I use Zans map and have it set to bottom right also (Since I also use Opis-Mapwriter in top right) so there is nowhere it can be displayed where it wouldn't overlap another more important part of my HUD at some point.

    2. I use MPS power armor and tool, and occasionally bedrock, neither of which have damage values so having a HUD to show them is useless to me!

    I see. Two maps (or 3 with journey if you have it, too.), isn't that a bit op?

    I like Zans map to see the mobs & players. I need Opis for my admin commands. I have both maps open.

    I don't use Journeymap, but I don't see any issue with having two mini-maps and know many players who use the same map configuration as me, it's different things for different purposes..
    Mapwriter is a great map for navigating from one players base to another especially in fullscreen mode since you scroll around it to see the full area you have uncovered already, whereas Zans is a much better local mini-map due to mob/player radar.

    You can now disable the ArmorStatusHud mod. I also have opis and the voxelmap but the opis map is hidden with N so I have only the voxelmap on the screen and the big opis with M.

    Any chance we could get an OptiFine addition like the other additional mods?

    this will never happen. 1. there is no compatible version 2. optifine makes everything worse with that many mods 3. the license of optifine is that strict that even ftb will never get access to it.

    Interesting, the Ultra D1 works great for me. Makes everything run 1,000 times better, less client side lag, less FPS stutter and less FPS drop due to heavy machinery, and rendering issues.

    Compatible with 1.6.4? There definitely is a compatible version, just to clarify. Been using one on FTB launcher since SirWilli announced its release a couple months ago. If I am unable to add it, I will probably never want to use the MyM launcher, am I able to add it manually myself then?

    mhh the last time I checked none of the versions worked and I know form 1.5 and 1.4 that optifine destroys the rendering of blocks and only (if) increases the performance a bit. In my testings it didn't increase anything, best settings on optifine 20 fps at a heavy machinery place and 22 with out it, kinda the same and I did decrease everything as low as possible but kept the rendering range the same.

    I did not test if it works to add your own mods to the launcher, let me know if it works or not. :)

    is there a way to change the hud? the hotbar is super small when i go through the mym launcher and so is inventory
