They said the server might sell Eggs.

Also @SirWilli I think you can turn off Forced Progression in the Twilight. This way if a players cant find a certain boss, they are not locked out of other biomes

That could be troublesome if people dont kill them bit they keep spawning.
Best option is banning the use of the Eggs anywhere except the Forest, then sell them for MyMs

Is it possible to make a sort of redstone contraption that only spawns 1 hydra at a time?

Honestly, it's easier to just sell the eggs rather than a spawner.
I love your idea though, if only there was a way ;(

Idk just thought it would help some of the guys get past the hydra challenge or like set up arenas for each one as some can be farmed to hell and none left like Hydras, snow queen and Ur-ghast (don't quote me on that only know about hydras) but idk just wondering if something like that was possible. Pistons droppers redstone command blocks something along those lines could look cool but use a ton of TPS (not a server expert so not sure) hope this can be resolved soon

Players can do this with Hydra spawn eggs, they can spawn the hydra where they want, and fight the hydra with whoever they want.
Easier and a lot more cleaner than a piston device imo

with the issue of griefing :( This is why we haven't added them to the market yet. You could simply put them into any auto placer to spawn them in the main world and bypass the protections.

Couldn't you create a specific arena type area where they can spawn that's made of bedrock so it cant be destroyed or griefed and stop the hydra breaking everything?

That could be a good idea actually, have a button (set up with commandblocks) where the hydra/other bosses spawn, and then up to 4 players can fight them?
(Would definitely be an interesting add)

Just trying to add some ideas into the mix so it can be fixed quicker. Or you could make the Twilight Forest progression be turned of but whatever you preference, the progression does add some sort of direction though. First of Ive gotta stop these Thaumcraft headaches ;)[DOUBLEPOST=1416491294,1416490896][/DOUBLEPOST]
What is people use the /TPA command in the arena to bypass the 4player restriction?

Fair enough just thought people may try and get 10 or 20 people just to destroy one hydra

one thing is that tf boss spawners disapear after acgually spawning the mob so i had an idea for the room thing. why not use an replicator (creative cell ae possibly) linked to something that can place the spawner down (turtle or ac) (making sure the export/interface whatever u use to transfer the spawner only keeps 1 item in the ad) that wired to a button which then spawns the hydra
