@Sheboshenigami Have you tried reinstalling the launcher? It could be that the pathing is wrong and it is unable to launch it because it cannot find the files.

I have tried reinstalling the launcher and I keep getting the same error and I don't have the capabilities on this computer to use the jar file due to the instructions so is there anything else that might come into mind>?

This error usually means that you either don’t have java installed or that you have the wrong version of java installed. Are you certain you have the 64-bit version of java?

Also as a side-note, posting on annold thread about a new issue is not the way to ask for support. Next time, make a new thread instead :)

Also ensure you are using JAVA 1.8 not 1.9 as 1.9 is not supported by forge.

I have taken into account both of these point of views I uninstalled my current java and reinstalled a 1.8 java and made sure it was 64 bit it still gives me the same error. is there anything else I could try?

    Hello,

This error notes that the Java version in your registry points your machine to a different version than the one you have installed.
Please open CMD ( command prompt) and type "regedit" and press enter

This should open a prompt asking for access, if you click "Yes" this should open your registry editor.

In your registry editor, please navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE in this folder, there should be a "Software" folder, which contains "JavaSoft" in there should be "Java Runtime Environment".
The full path to where you should be would look like this:

If you look to the right side of the window it will give you 3 values, one of which is called CurrentVersion.
Make sure this value is the same as your Java version.
I'm using Java version 1.8 meaning my current version has the value of "1.8"

Can you confirm this is correct on your end, please?

On a little side note, a 32-bit system won't be able to run a 64-bit Java.

Thank you for your patience and if you have any questions please do ask.

    Kind wishes,
    Jitrid

I can not confirm this as there is nothing there however I do have a java installed on my computer this was the first thing I checked when I was told to make sure that it was 1.8

Are you able to start the launcher if you download the jar version and start it via java -jar <..jar>?

I am not as there is nothing to launch the jar file inside of the downloadable jar file

you realize that's not how command prompt works with that code you require more than just that. that is not how you test java that is how you get a list of commands for java

You are actually getting a list of commands right?
That's just to test if the path is set correctly

    Hello,

Could you try uninstalling Java, then cleaning up your registry before reinstalling?
This may have the new Java install put itself back in your registry and allow you to run your game again.

    Kind wishes,
    Jitrid

here is the thing it's not that I can't play on the server its that I can't install the launcher because it can't find java. also I cleaned the registry and it still gives me the same error that I keep getting any other solutions that you could think of?

What do you mean? Download the jar version from our website and then open cmd in the download directory and run java -jar MyM-Launcher.jar
