Id like to preface my stating that I'm not a hardcore pvper nor em I the type of person that pvps on a regular basis. This modification is something of an end tier ideal. Once players acquire the necessary means for power, resources,excitement they will come to a lul. At this time is when players would perhaps dabble in PVP. Of course you could set pvp permissions to be able to toggle them in claimed plots but for the most part anything goes. I know that most servers are labelled as a pve server but the other word usually associated with the server descriptions is survival. Is surviving against other players not included in that broad description? Just a thought is all. Auonddon
the main problem is that there is a huge difference between all the possible weapons and armors that it is kinda hard to find someone with similar stuff where a fight could be balanced (besides endgame). Another big problem is that about 80% of the players just want to get all the stuff, automate things and build there bases, I think people which would love pvp on that server are below 20%. Another big problem is that drawing a line in what is ok and what is not with pvp is freaking hard and players will always play on the edge to that line. I see why you want it, but besides creating an own world or server for it I don´t see a way to manage it. The problem about this is again that you would need enough players for that world/server. Lets say if there would be 50 players on a pvp monster server, we would have about 6-8 TPS after a month and you maybe find 2-5 players which are on your level. Monster isn´t a pvp modpack in my opinion. Modpacks which are great for pvp could be Hexxit, Madpack and Attock of the B-Team.
