    Hi guys!
So i made a underground mining machine in direwolf20 modpack and it was harder than i think'd

First of all to mine the front of it. It was painful to think out how to do that. I did try to use Terrain smashers but they were bugged out and didn't accept any transfer pipes/ item conduits etc.. Then i tried block breakers but they weren't working properly too. then after a day i finaly get to the final point. as front miner i did use ME, because it was the only working thing. Now front miner works great.

you can see the photo here!

Everything else what i did plan was great. All did work pretty good. Here are some photos of the mining machine and his system itself.

    You can see album here!

    Mods you need:
    Buildcraft
    Funky Locomotion
    Applied energistics
    Thermal Expansion
EnderStorage (depends how you will make it)
    Power (lol, not a mod)
If you want a world download let me know.

Do you not like the poor server? Use an enderquarry/quarry/something designed for this. We had a setup like this take a server to it's knees a few weeks ago.

I acually dont see why people make the frame quarrys they are more complex harder to build, might be more resource heavy and not that fast. Why not just make a enderquarry. Does the job and it is friendly to the server

I aint saying that they arent working, just saying that an enderquarry is much more efficient about it.

Nice one:D I used to build machines like this with redpower moving frames.
We built 6axis inch worm engines and made massive TBM's me and rebel had a mining cube
Wich could mine all 6 directions.. you could just drive it through the earth:D

I actual use these setups for building long Train tunnels, or giant walls.

Seems cool although it's a bit far fetched don't you think. CPU wise it's going to kill the server pretty bad but the concept is very nice though I wouldn't try this on a public server. Ender quarries? That so lame in the sense 1 block does everything the entire set up you made. But hey it's the use of different mods to work together that is cool

Totally agree with you, the machines are awesome and all, but it can kill a server.
