Hey, I just moved the forum and soon the website to a new server with a bit more power. But the main changes are moving to mariadb and using php-fpm via fcgi. These three changes (mainly php-fpm) increased the forums page generation time from 0.1-0.3 seconds to 0.04-0.11 seconds. I think I will add googles pagespeed module, too. As this would decrease the size of the delivered images a lot as most players directly upload the huge minecraft png screenshot files.
