So I have a 2002 Pontiac Aztek. This year had issues with many things, including the parking brake light acting iffy. In mine, it stays on and chimes constantly. The only known fixes are to remove fuse 37, the radio fuse, or remove the driver speaker... don't know which route to go. I know I should stop listening to music as loud as I do, but also I like my music lol.

Driver speaker? What's that? 'cause it sounds like something useless...

    I
Its the speaker in the drivers side door. Most cars only have two speakers: drivers side and passengers side

Could you not just be low on brake fluid?:bookworm:

Nope, its nothing to do with the main brakes. The parking brake is cable operated, not hydraulic like the main brakes.

I am thinking of this, or I can dig through my dash and find the GM chime module, but that would be so hard to do. And I have a 10 speaker Pioneer setup lol
