Requesting a recipe for the Powerless Pearl (which can be charged to a Primordial Pearl). This is a high end thaumcraft item that you can get in 2 ways ... charged version by killing the outerlands boss. Powerless or depleted by trading with the Millénaire towns. The last one not being an option anymore. The problem is, you can lose these pearls pretty easy, a failed infusion, dropped in fire/taint. Replacing 3 of them at once means 3 more dungeons that can be very buggy when opened close to each other in overworld. So I would like to suggest a recipe to create these powerless pearls using the denier currency from Millénaire (which has an alternate recipe instead of the usual trading).
My recipe suggestion, 1 denier or + Wand of summoning (which doesn't get consumed). Makes the pearls obtainable and you have to put in some work to get more.
@dailypeanut THIS is the only use of the powerless pearl I could find, is their another one? If not, I would suggest using the following: Denier Argent in the corners Powerless pearl in the center Crystal clusters on the top and sides Wand of Summoning on bottom, not consumed Just my 2 Cents on recipe
When you use Primordial pearls in infusion crafting to make primordial armor (3 pearls per) , weapons (2 pearls per). They are returned as powerless pearls. Then you have to revitalize them through what you found. Primordial pearls are also used in other recipes like the advanced alchemical construct (doesn't get consumed) and several other things. In regular Regrowth with millénaire, you have to trade with the towns to build up reputation and coins to buy the powerless pearls from them. Following the quest book will give you 4 pearls (basically all you will ever need if nothing bad happens). One of the bad things that can happen is an infusion becoming unstable and a pearl explodes, or if the pearls are already consumed and you still have to stop the infusion ... then they are not returned and gone forever. So in conclusion, i think needing the crystal clusters , which is a high end blood magic demon invasion item is a far to expensive cost for the pearls. Also you can not make a powerless pearl without a successful infusion. So say you lose all your pearls, it's game over for pearls.
Don't you need to be end game blood magic to get to millénaire though? But on that point, this would be easier right? Denier Argent in the corners Powerless pearl in the center Redstone soup on the sides Wand of Summoning on top, returned Blood Orb, returned, and uses 20,000 blood
actually to get the wand of summoning (in a Regrowth with Millénaire) ... all you need is to clear the outerlands from thaumcraft, gaia 2 fight and very basic blood magic
actually in my excitements, we are making the powerless pearl so it can't really be part of the recipe. How about replacing it with the tier 4 (or 5) Blood Orb ?
but to get a powerless pearl, you first have to get a primordial pearl and then use said primordial pearl in an infusion recipe (primordial gauntlet / eldritch blood orb (requires tier 6 again) or the primordial crusher are the only options). Again if this infusion fails you do not get any powerless pearl back, the primordial pearl can get eaten (i lost 3 on a failed infusion) and we are back to why we need a recipe for this pearl to begin with. To be a broken record again, all it took was spawning a village, deliver heaps of wood to this village, earn deniers to buy the powerless pearl. And not even that many deniers ... That is why i suggested the wand of summoning surrounded by "denier or", the top rank currancy of millénaire. 8 Denier or = 46.656 copper ingots
For sure: The last picture, but an ender pearl in the middle outputting a powerless Pearl. Would also be nice: The last picture that outputs two powerless pearls.
