Is there anyway to unban RF Tools? I know that the worlds KILL the server but if a person could only have 1 at a time and a crazy about of RF to run. Something like 100KF/t. Where you have to be super endgame to use. I love RF Tools and while taxing on the server a possible fix is maybe setting a world limit of like 500 blocks. I don't know if something like that is possible but 100KF/T 500 block limit and 1 at a time would be cool. And 100KF/T for like a ok world. Like the just random world with nothing good would be 50KF/T and the god tier worlds would be 500KF/T
Do you know what is just as if not more so laggy that people having RFtools dimensions running on a multiplayer server? Spoiler All of those people having to run the insane power generation setups that would be needed to run them if the cost was that high...
I'm trying to come up with a way for RF Tools to be a thing while still not making the servers slow by limiting how much you can do. People are going to have insane power setups even if they have no use for that power. I have draconic reactor when really I only need half of what my turbine gives to run my whole base. People are gonna have more what they need regardless of if they can or can not they can even use that power.
actually being honest rf-tools worlds are not that bad if there made right... the issue is mym use pregen on there worlds allowing less system to be used reason can have so many at once and you cant pregen a rftools world because they are playermade
Im voting against this suggestion. I played on Infinity Evolved Expert: Never felt the need for RFTools Worlds. Made it to/beat endgame without it. Now playing on PO2 Kappa: Also no need for these. The only thing i could do with is the RFTools Matter converter as a mob spawning alternative. but even thats not really needed. Made it all the way to endgame without RFtools Worlds aswell.
While we encourage ideas, I can safely say that RFTool Dimensions are NOT going to be allowed anywhere in the foreseeable future. They simply consume too many server resources, and frankly do not add enough to the game experience to justify the costs.
I can agree with Brok and Deepcage, but my own personal reason for saying no is that the amount of people that would use RF Tools ingame would crash the server way too much, also, some of the worlds that you can create can lead you to Endgame really quick. Owen
Ya I agree that RF Tools doesn't add much and does take up a lot of resources. And I knew when I made this the chances of it being added were very slim. It's just I played on a server that allowed it and I had so much fun making the perfect world for what I wanted. Had all the mobs I wanted to spawn and the best ores. Just kind of want another thing to do and RF Tools is a great power and time sink.
