So, with the new questbook you most of the time have to have all the items for a part of a quest to register. Problem with the space-quests is that you need for example tier 2 rocket and tier 2 schematics in your inventory at the same time to register. You ofc. have to use this schematic to make the rocket, making you have to get 2 of the schematics to complete the quest.

Is there any way to fix this stupidness with the new questbook?

Lately what has been working for me on crafting and retrieval quests is once you have what is required, click the detect/submit button and it will register that you have made that specific item already. If that doesn't work, your best bet is to make a ticket regarding the issue.

It works for crafting quests, but retrieval ones are somewhat broken, since you need to have all items at once, meaning you need to get 2 schematics, since you need to use one to even learn how to make the rocket, which you also need to have in inventory. SirWili has been making custom recipes for some schematics on other mod packs, so unless the new questbook stops derping and doesn't force you to have all items on you at once for it to recognize it, they'll have to make custom recipes for PO2 as well.

Maybe you should suggest that in the suggestions forums. I wouldn't mind having recipes for them either :p

Someone else made a Support thread about it, for another modpack: Done - Galacticraft Tier 2 Rocket Schematic | MineYourMind Community - assumed we should just make a support thread too for PO2 servers, but yeah, a suggestion thread might be checked faster. I really just wish the darn quest log would properly recognize items separately, instead of having to carry all listed items at once, resulting in issues like this.

I agree entirely but the mod is still in development I think so maybe in the future it will be better at detecting those things! :)

Issue is still very much a nuisance factor in the game. Gotten to tier 6 now...[DOUBLEPOST=1483027838,1483022646][/DOUBLEPOST]Seems a new patch is comming with a, suprise suprise - "# Updated BQ1 to BQ2 so progression and parties will not convert over (sorry)" so don't worry about this one, just close.

Wait so we lost our progress from the switch from HQM to BQM and now we're gonna lose it all again when BQM updates?
