While I do know that there is already a plugin that resets the lootable blocks such as the smeltry and reactor, after a while, it seems that they don't do a very good job at it anymore. What probably happen was it saved the looted structure as the default reset state so there are a bunch of the smeltry and reactor building that never get restored back properly.

Since I haven't play for a while, at first i thought that these reactor were just looted by other people. But after a while, it seems that they actually never get restored. These are a few screenshot of these reactor.

People can pour lava/pyrotheum + water and it creates these large stone/cobblestone that obstruct you from mining the reactor because stone/cobblestone can't be mined in that dimension, unless you have a super fast pickaxe.

Have you come across other towns that are similarly destroyed and not regenerating?

Most of the picture above are from 3-4 different reactor town.
