The "Lucid" Incident

Hello again fellow MyMers! I wanted to take a moment out of your busy day to address the recent incidents regarding the unauthorized use of my account. As you may have noticed a group of individuals decided to target my account to cause mayhem and anarchy. They caused only minor damage to a few servers, unbanned their real accounts, and ban/mute/kicked a few players before staff stopped them. I want to assure everyone that the damage they caused is or is being repaired swiftly and the network will be back to as it was only moments before they started.

We have identified the individuals and removed them from the network. I have also reported them to Mojang, Steam, and every other place they are a part of in the hopes of stopping them from attempting to disrupt gamers everywhere.

In my final words, I just want to Thank the awesome staff, players, and community that were quick to report and act on this. Special thanks to Slind, werewolfi_de, snowfoxs, and mrwisski for being quick to act in stopping the damage, restoring players data, and assisting the investigation. While there are many more that had a part in this, those 4 went above and beyond.

Thanks for your understanding and I hope you enjoy your time here as much as we enjoy volunteering here.

Also guys...remember. Different passwords everywhere. Only reason damage was contained to MC and not forums, back end, etc

 

The roleback was quite large. I ended up losing quite a few items I bought with MYMs is there anything that can be done about it?

 

I used to have the same password everywhere, until 000webhost got hacked and plain text passwords have become available... 3 hours of changing passwords as soon as I found out
So yeah, that's an important tip. Use different passwords now, or eventually you'll pay for that.
