How much do you know the modpack you play? Or maybe just a mod your really good at? We need people to help write out Mods and Items for the wiki. (As you can guess its quite a big task!) The Wiki is based on each modpack so when writing out a page for the mod it needs to include information that relates to that modpack! You get credit for each page you write! The Wiki Progress Sheet! HOW TO HELP US Pick a mod from the list, Write out wiki pages for us. You can do this in google docs or word or even just write them in the comments. You need to include pictures. What use it has in the PACK ITS IN. Not just its general use. Also include ways to obtain. 1.Pick a mod 2.Comment saying your going to do that mod in which modpack 3.Edit that comment to include a link to your wiki entry 4. Enjoy knowing you helped! Are you planning on making this an official wiki with wikia or wikispaces or is this more of an in-house project. Also if its one of the first two can we get a link?
We could make it with Wikia, It was just i couldent really find a good enough site to host it with so immazebrah offered to host it. Theres not much done at the moment. There its 2 Items out of Applied Energistics which are done.
If you put it up and make it public, players can add entries and such. I don't know if its possible to make permissions for staff to lock threads once they are finished and make small changes later on. I'd love to contribute some of my knowledge!
Would it be able to sync the accounts with the forums? That way all the work for perms and such becomes much easier.

Initially the idea of a wiki is to allow everyone to fill it and extend its content. Most of the software ships with version control so you can undo bad content.. If you use a hosted wiki like wikia you should be aware of their terms, most of them make all the content theirs and if they want to they lock you out, change things and the biggest thing I don't like is that they monetize everything. So in case there is an issue, expect to be thrown out.
if you need help with that we can work something out, but I would like to see some work done, before we spent time on setting it up..
Just make sure it doesn't become one of those wiki's where only the basics get discussed and only some of the links actually go to a usefull page.
