    Hey,

some may already know that we will remove the TE conduits. Here is some information about it, to cover your questions.

    Why:
    • with the servers uptime they require more and more cpu resources, as you see on the picture about 50% after 1 hour uptime
    • I don´t see an update from FTB coming soon
    • After 2 hours of profiling I now know that even the latest version of Thermal Expansion only reduced but did not solve the problem as you can see here
    • I don´t like low tps and I think you too
    • Restarting the server every hour isn´t a long term solution
    Solution:
    • All Thermal Expansion conduits get banned soon.
    • There are NPCs at the spawn where you can trade the te conduits into ender io conduits
    • Every Thermal Expansion conduit which does not get replaced or removed will be deleted without refunds in 2-3 days. (I´m sorry for the people which are away during this time, but we have to be aggressive to solve this issue fast.)
    Good to know:
    • The Ender IO conduits work similar to the TE ones, but:
    • You need to set the input and the output with a Yeta Wrench, it doesn´t work if you do it via. the gui which you get when you click onto the conduit´s bus.
I hope I covered all your questions, if not feel free to comment below and I will try to answer them.

This is actually quite a problem as the ender IO conduits are much more expensive than the TE ones and they are much harder to make. Also, most of us have already-made systems based on TE conduits. I just hope that they can fix this problem. Though I am still ok with the ender IO conduits replacing the TE ones as I know its for the good of the server :)

they aren't more expensive really. it's just you need more machines that aren't very expensive and they transfer less power when converting the energy types
