Done Unable to connect to the server

Hey guys,

I'm having a bit of a problem connecting to the server, I've also tried with Cloud 9, and had no luck.

The log is basically just stating that the ping to the server is timing out (which is the same message I get when trying to connect).

I've manually ping'd the server via command line, and that is working, I've also had a look at the server status for both MYM and Minecraft itself, and both are showing green.

I'm just wondering if there is a ping threshold in place (I was getting a ping of ~350ms, when I manually tested), and/or if anyone else is having problems connecting.

I have no idea what you'd like me to provide as evidence, but the only message I'm getting in the log is:
[Client thread/ERROR]: Can't ping regrowth.mineyourmind.net: Timed out

At least, what I can see that is connected to connections.

I've had no issues connecting before, and was connected this morning (13 hours ago).

I wonder what is causing it :/

 

I can ping the actual address from CMD but I have tried the FTB and MYM launchers and both dont work.

It sits there saying "Pinging..." and then changes to "Can't connect to server". I am not sure what port minecraft uses but its like Australia has been port blocked on the game servers.

Definitely not just an Aussie thing as it is also happening to me in the US. (Attempting with crundee server)

 

i'm having issues too, server stats showing no heartbeat except for one server.

 

I think the heartbeat is normal, I think that is the time since last heartbeat, so no time is good time.

But I know Australian connections to MyM are via the US, so it is possible there is a problem at that end causing issues.

And yeah, Bastian, I get the same results doing the same thing on my end, but at least I know it isn't a <me> issue, which is nice.

Something is definitely odd between us and the server. I'm sure someone will be on it asap.

 

It should fix itself within the hour unless someone is on it already, its been happening a few times within the last couple of days. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

 

It's all cool, just thought it a bit strange, I haven't had any issues with connecting up until now, so if you say it's happened a few times now, it's a bit strange I haven't been on the receiving end until now.

And as per another thread, and suggested by Slind (In said thread), I've run WinMTR, and the results are: (1 Week expiration)

I don't think it'll do much to help, but you never know.

just letting you know, what ever the issue is, appears to be resolved now.

 

Service to 1.7.10+ servers should be restored now. Small hiccup in the proxy, which has been corrected.

Thanks MrWisski, no issue with it since, though I haven't logged off yet.

And tyler, I don't think it's down, I'd have to log out to check again, but I've no issues with being connected at the moment.

 

same here but i live in the heart of the us and man i have high internet i checked and i can do anything on any browser or game so its not me but when i load minecraft up via MYM client it says 0 connection or very low to none. and idk what it is
