Due to this recent rollback I litterally lost everything. After having my warehouse completely deleted because of a bug I used a soulbound goldenbag of holding with diamond iron backpacks in it to store litterally everything. I lost my terrasteel armor will all of the gaia enchants on the helmet. I lost my one ring, all of the botania relics. I have no iron, no pickaxe. nothing.
I literally had every set of armor in the game fully upgraded with every weapon in my spectre dimension. Now my spectre dimension is completely gone and I lost everything.
This issue still needs to be looked into. You haven't lost anything as we have backups. Only the overworld was rolled back.
So my spectre dimension is linked with my player data? Meaning that if we get our lost time back my spectre dimension will come back right?
Due to the recent rollback, a lot was reverted back two to three entire weeks. First off, my moon base is back. I dismantled that three weeks ago. Second, my inventory shares that fate. I literally have everything from three weeks ago. And the tier 2 rocket I used in case of emergencies? It was in my /echest. Third, without said rocket I can't go back to mars to look at whats happened to my base there. I did have a portal, but it links back to the moon base instead. I'm probably not gonna end up playing anymore Civ if it stays like this, because I've lost SO much progress it is literally the worst minecraft experience I've ever had.
We will need to wait for booker to respond as he dealt with some fixes recently on civ. I just rolled the server back to this morning's backup @ 5:48am GMT+0.
It's kind of a lose lose situation as ppl will complain if we roll the inventories/world back and ppl will complain if we do nothing. Not sure what we're going to do atm, need to discuss it with the admin team.
I just want my Void thaumaturge robes, void wand and other things back, some of witch are not replaceable
well Booker and werwolfi have been working all night to fix taumcraft, Ash prolly has a backup from that period while they were testing and working on the problem
Mmm. Yeah maybe. Hey Ash, can you roll back to like, yesterday mornings back-up?[DOUBLEPOST=1454381410,1454380208][/DOUBLEPOST]I mean.. there are WAY more people complaining now about losing 3 weeks worth of stuff, than there are going to be people complaining about 8 hours. Rationally it just makes SENSE to go with that, lol.
Im not sure, am I happy that I lost alot of effort? Of course. Am I No! It's a game! I get why your upset, you put in effort. People need to remember Pissed is ok, Mad is not!
I'm not sure I follow your logic.[DOUBLEPOST=1454382197][/DOUBLEPOST]However my edit was in response to a (deleted I guess?) comment by Ash, saying that people would complain about losing ~8hr of work.
Apologies. I am literally running on fumes. I dont think I would normally use a text editor. What I am attempting to get across is the fact that, we, I, you lost progress. You, I, We lost PROGRESS on a virtual game. Boo-Hoo. Go outside. If someone is upset at losing virtual progress thats fine, if you are carrying on, whining, carrying on. Stop. Think about it, and re-evaluate the situation. Is raging over an online game worth it? Not meant at you @Xyrik, just my two cents.
Well, I agree to an extent, but it's still time. I can relate something else to this: people sometimes tell me I'm foolish for buying currency in Warframe, which is mostly used to save time (rush certain things, buy things in a more advanced state rather than doing it yourself, etc.) and my response is that I can always work for more money, but I can never get time back. Similar to my case here. I spent the most valuable thing I can on this, time. I could have used that doing other things, but I chose to enjoy myself and do this, and having it all erased is just kind of a slap in the face. I realize not everything is within their control, but it definitely seems like they can do better than rolling players back 1-3 weeks.
