I guess. It's more the fact that I need to redo it. It becomes repetitive. When I switch servers its a new enviroment, im not doing the exact same thing. I am here.
I'm still for a complete reset. This will give the admins to fix everything again and: Less Lag Clean new fresh Start Everyone from the same lvl No item lost issues
i mean i wouldn't mind it a fresh start is always nice and it puts everyone on the same level though the part of me that dosnt want is also the one that has had to rebuild the base 5 times and redesign it countless times
Yeah I'm not dealin' with that though, to be honest. My base was tedius af to build, and I really don't want to deal with starting with nothing again, on this modpack.
Neither me, nor my base, existed at the point the server was rolled back to; so I lost all 20-30 hours of play. =( Turns out my base exists pretty much as I last saw it, only my player.dat got reset to a point where I hadn't joined the server yet.
hmm, might need to roll it back even further as for some reason people are missing bases in the backup I used.
Waiting on ticket response because my bed got removed etc, having issues, can't get on. Hopefully I still own a base.
@Ash00182 i am pretty sure, you got a backup from maintainance last night, since booker and werwolfi been working on it all night to figure the thaumcraft problem. They prolly worked with various backups to find the problem or rather find its origin since they have very little debug data about the problem.
This is the perfect opportunity to delete all the mods that are causing troubles, add some new interesting ones, rebalance the ones already in....AAAND a fresh new map.

The word Nuke is right in his name kek. But nah seriously, don't do a map reset. Those kinds of things just make me leave the server for a few months. As I was talking about on another topic tl;dr I talked about another game where you buy premium currency etc to rush things, people said I was silly for doing that, my response was "I can always work for more money, but I can't make more time". If the server just nuked, it would be a huge waste of the most valuable thing we as humans can spend. A little overly dramatic, but that is how I feel.
Would a map reset bother me? No. Would it bother my team-mates and everyone else? Yes! It would give me the time to redo my base, from scratch and I can easily get back where I am because I've done it.

I agree I don't want a reset and from the people I've asked they don't either so what inv and research has been set back the server is stable so I agree @Xyrik Also @Ernuke if you want to get rid off every mod that has caused a problem then don't play modded. Modded is well know for its crashing and bugs ash, booker and werewolfi have sorted than out and the server is stable again
@Dat_Doc I realize not literally no one wants one, I was being hyperbolic. Most players will not want that.
the server fine now just the plugins need to be fixed and maybe a later backup of player data but thats not crucial[DOUBLEPOST=1454428050][/DOUBLEPOST]atleast it doesn't crash and thaumcraft works
Well, Civi being down has allowed me to accomplish a lot of IRL things I had not planned on doing. I would count this as a +1.
