Hi, i want to do the ritual soon.

I've found this thread, and wonder where i should do the ritual now, because afaik no such world exists?!

Do it on top of nether. Its the best place imo.

It is probably best if you do it on the 1st or 2nd day of February because that's when the nether resets so you can use the ritual for a whole month

 

i did mine in the last millennium, its a void world so it will only spread as far as u make a platform for it. i also believe it doesn't reset.

the downside is u need to make a giant platform for it, i used about 14k stone on mine using ring of loki to place it all.

 

ok, actually did it on top of nether, raided a few dungeons, and used teleposer to move the portal block to bedrock of my base.

now i got demons falling from heaven and dungeons in the sky xD (seems it saves it's y position)

 

I remember being able to break the portal-block on DW20 and on the old Infinity servers. Don't know if the block drops itself now, but it spawned the demons on the same Y-cord then.

 

just tried in SP, seems the block drops as item when mined.

but when placing a demon portal from inventory it doesn't spawn anything. (got the portal through creative mode and switched to survival)

as some players on infinity also have a invasion going, there might be one around who wants to try it xD
