It all depend on your playstyle. You can try Proyect Ozone if you like skyblocks and reach a point where you can blow up the whole nether. Or you can try Civilization and be ready to defend your stuff every time you go into the wilderness (PVP enable by default). You can play a little more safe in Direwolf20 or Infinity Normal or you can ramp up the difficulty and try Infinity Hard. Also if you want a crash course of bees... in a skyblock dimension, Bee Happy is your modpack. There's also the good ol' Crash Landing and its lovely Sanity/thrist/heat system. And if you dont like heavily modded modpacks, we have Vanilla +, which give you the feelind of normal Minecraft, with a little bit of mods to improve the feeling. As I said, it all depends on your playstyle. As a tip. Infinity (Both normal and hard) and Civilization have just recently made a fresh start, so you can hop on one of those modpacks and enjoy an almost virgin landscape.
Tekkit legends is a good modpack if you like OP endgame items that are not too impossible to get. Its kinda like a creative mode server once you get to endgame. It does get kinda empty though it needs more players
Tekkit legends is completeable too quick depending on your PC specs and your enjoyment levels id suggest either ozone or infinity
same for Infinity. If you like building Stuff, it's a great Modpack. Many ways to get fly, Draconic tools, (super) builders wand and exchanger make building really fun also mods like bloodmagic and thaumcraft give you something to do when you're tired of building.
Infinity is a better option than Tekkit legends but dont write it off, id startt with tekkit to get a feel then move to the big leagues of infinity
well legends is a bit more creative like because you can use the transmutation tablet to basically have a creative mode inventory so you dont need to go back to your base every few minutes to refill your inventory. "whats that you forgot your water bucket at home? No problem just grab one out of your tablet!"
but what if you run out of iron or diamonds or something and you don't have some quarry system set up to solve that, then you haf to go all the way underground and spend a few minutes finding more resources. and even if you do have a quarry set up then every now and then you half to go back to the farmworld to move it. And don't even get me started with what you do if you want to build with netherquarts [DOUBLEPOST=1455127926][/DOUBLEPOST]I like how this has turned from a thread about what a good modpack is to the OP-ness of ProjectE... sorry Cr4zyDuud3
sorry i don't know about the transmutation tablet, thought it would be something similar. also it wasn't my intention to advert infinity as the better modpack. i think they both have their pros/cons, so i think exactly that convo we had/have helps cr4zyduud3 to figure out what fits his desires
ROTCT is a sequel to AOTBT so you should try that! Sadly, ROTCT has no witchery but it is still a great pack to enjoy and remember the old times of actually taking time to build machines and setup a decent power source. Gosh do I miss those old mod packs :'c
