Black Desert Online

Just wondering if anyone is planning on playing the new MMO Black Desert Online that comes out in a few days and what are your thoughts on it?

 

It's a sandbox MMO, which intrigues me because those have previously seemed to be falling out of style, picking back up though.

It's been in development since 2010, and beta since 2013, so I have high hopes for content. Seems like it features a lot of endgame content. Might purchase it.

 

How has something been in dev since 2019, please explain?

I might look at it but ive got 2 other MMO's to do (FFXIV and ESO)

 

I realy like to play the TSE V Skyrim game and i was thinking of giving ESO a try. Do you have any info about( cons and pros )?

This post is appropriately placed in "community talk" where one can talk about topics that don't necessarily involve Minecraft. As long as they are appropriate. Which I don't see why this isn't.

 

ESO is good and level quests better than FFXIV also the PVP. Is amazing and I don't like pvp the end game is good too with champion levels
Only down side the grafting for Vet 16 gear

 

lmao i just noticed the signature timeleg, mine is a residential connection , clearly yours is a commerical connection, so therefore no comparision

 

it is another game that yet again costs money and therefor,sadly, goes on my back burner list.

yes ok, it's residential, not commercial. provided by a small company. It's pure residential, not commercial.

 

Eh, ESO didn't seem to good too me. The questing was really boring and with a series like Elder Scrolls, I feel like story is a big part, and it just felt really bland. The classes were okay but I felt really limited, again, by the lack of customization with them, as well as how I looked visually; armor was really meh looking.

As for BDO, myself and Quasii both own it, and he's a really huge fan. I've been playing another game (Project: Gorgon if you're interested, it's pretty neat, although still in pre-alpha it has a lot of content) so I haven't gotten much into it yet, but of what I've played it's pretty fun.
