Hey TheJoker could you set some words on how this pack is all about and how it is better/difference from the 20+ other servers we have
It is made by the same person (DrasticDemise) who made hubris and banished, so yeah it's on FTB. It basically guides you through these mods: Ars Magica Aura Cascade Thaumcraft Botania Mystcraft Blood Magic Witchery I think it's a nice pack but it looks like a pack that would lead into the same direction hubris did. The pack gets good support and constant updating then it dies down and server gets shut down because there are only about 2 people who play often.
looks good but if mystcraft is at the core thats going to be diffecult with the fact that that will kill the server never played either of those packs but good mods
This pack is listed on FTB since some weeks. It basically is a tutorial through a lot of the magic mods. As far as I know a lot of the usual way to get stuff (as in Tinker Tools, Vanilla Tools) etc are disabled, so you are forced to go the magic way to do stuff. (In my opinion Botania is more a tech mod, but that's another story) There is also a 1.8 version in development, since there are quite some changes in Thaumcraft and Bloodmagic, this might also be interesting once it is stable enough for a server.
