Should we have Eldritch Obelisks renewed/reset?

    I was messing around in SP and i stumbled upon the "item" that makes eldritch portals. I was thinking a monthly time where moderators go around and replace all of the used obelisks and replace them with the portal placer (it supports the whole structure). This would resolve the problem of many obelisks being destroyed or used and no others could access the uses of the primordial pearls.

    KAMI doesn't need the primordial pearls, plz, don't even, also: they can spawn in farmworld if they set it up properly

    They get renewed on some servers, if the obelisks are claimed. Claims get reset after 2 weeks of inactivity.[DOUBLEPOST=1458419797][/DOUBLEPOST]Though i doubt the puzzles of the obelisks get also reset.

    The farmworld portals dont really work, they spawn to void. As far as I know, there isnt a fix, or at least not an easy one, as this has been a problem for some time.

    also, having staff fly around on all worlds that had this mod, breaking and replacing all of the portals, would take an insane amount of work that I dont think anyone would want to do. There are countless portals among all our servers.

    often are broken is the problem. i've been on servers where there's 1-3 left, and the ones in farmworld are fixable in the way of: use a jetpack, you can fly to one and teleport in using the fence and /tpa glitch, where you get moved up if you're in a block when doing /tpa, so you go all the way up without trying

    Yes, but as far as a way to actually make it work without that type of glitching, or make them spawn in "fixed", isn't that easy if possible at all, sadly.

    true, the only fix i know of otherwise is to try random farmworld ones and leave, you can fly with the jetpack

    Actually it does. You need ALL of the research in vanilla TC and the eldritch tab requires it to be at least scanned. Also, the full I want to be a master thaumaturge with everything they would have. Is impossible without at least one. As said before the "barbaric" way of getting into farm world ones is obnoxious and not all players have access to void damage prevention to get out of there before they die from void damage.

    It doesn't, do /iskamiunlocked next time and get the facts straight, seriously, you need all of the NON-HIDDEN research in vanilla TC and non-elderitch tab researches, don't even with me

    Definitely does not need eldritch tab, /iskamiunlocked as chugga said will give you a (slightly hard to decipher) list of all the researches you still need.

    there is a way how to fixed this issue ... on ferret we have new world generetad for to be main world meaning it is a NEW overworld, so i think then the overworld in which these obelisk are working can be reseted.. but that would mean that the overworld would become a farmworld and all bases should be moved to the newly genereted world whihc is going to stay. But for some reason on ferret the overwrold is still being used a s a place wehre to build your base.. which is stupid in my oppinion bcs we were told it will get reseted after some thime becase of the new world generation thingy update on Ferret. So i belikve this is a easy fix for that issue.

    Just let all players long time to move base to newly generated wordl and set a rule that bases in overwrodl will be reseted over time... some time and you can even make the overworld smaller so it does not take so much space and resources. And the new world generetad for purpose of being the MAIN BUILD world set as a new OVERWORLD but not change any ID of that world.
