I have a decently large home, and make good use of wireless AE, which has been fine for a while now. Recently though, my network has only loaded while i'm in the same chunk as the bulk of it (energy acceptor, drives, terminal, etc.). This leaves my wireless unresponsive unless I'm in this chunk, which defeats the purpose. The issue also extends to the quantum network connector, which I'm using within my home to avoid ugly wiring. I'm not sure if this is intentional design to cut down on tps lag from multiple systems running full-throttle, but I can see it becoming a problem for many players as their homes expand through progression.
Most of my home is in a 4x4 chunk area, so it should all be loaded. Could it be due to client-side connection?
On our servers, only the chunk you stand in runs at full speed, the rest of them go much much slower unless actively loaded with an iron/gold chunk loader. Info - Figuring out the way new voting, tickets, and tokens work | MineYourMind Community
That's understandable, but is it normally slow enough that it prevents things such as ae systems from running properly? I've asked around and nobody else has had a similar issue? Not to mention it was working normally for a while when I first set things up, it's only been the past couple of days that it hasn't been working.
Yes, it can cause machines and AE systems to be unloaded and stop working. The chunkloaders are relatively cheap, though, only requiring a block of iron for online loading, and a block of gold if you wish to load chunks while offline.
I know what it is I have had the same issue do u have any wires or terminals that are connected else where for example 2 chunks away and do u have enough power[DOUBLEPOST=1458846496][/DOUBLEPOST]My issue which was similar was the fact that I had a lot of wireing that is unloaded
Well as for right now the user has not complained about it still not working. Should probably wait and see if it is before shot gunning ideas
