LF Players

Hi Guys,

Im a new player looking to start fresh on one of the MYM Servers preferably DW20 or Infinity. I am fairly new to modded mindcraft and dont really want to play solo at the moment so im looking for someone or a group that would be happy to play along side me.

I will be very active as im currently off work until May so you wont have to be doing everything yourself.

Anyone intrested please let me know or ask any questions you would like answering.

Hey dude im actually playing Infinity Evolved Skyblock if you would like to join. Im not too far into it anyways so if your up for it I would be fine with letting you join. Just hit me up sometime.

 

I don't mean to offend anyone but I don't think Ftb evolved would be the best choice for a noob again o don't mean to offend a single soul

 

I actually agree, for a new user to minecraft or even to modding I would advise to play direwolf.. in addition to it being a nice and stable modpack, you can always follow his videos and learn how to use mods this way.

But if you are going to play with someone who is willing to show you the ropes then go ahead.. and thank you guys for offering your help..

If your new to modded I would highly recommend ferret business. The hqm quests act as a guide through a lot of the mods in the pack. I would also like to welcome you to MyM I hope you have a good time here. If you need anything contact a staff member either on the forums or with a ticket.

 

adding to that mym also offers Slack and teamspeak and from my experience slack is alot faster at getting questions answered

 

Yeah I agree really any modpack with a Hqm quests would be very good for anyone to play to learn a lot about mod packs.

 

Infinity evolved will be good for you if you can handle a bit of grinding as it makes you use all the mods together to progress in the game.

 

Well someone that is starting out completely for the first time probably should play more of a structured mode rather than a mode that just "drops you right into the action"

 

Just so, I offer you to play with me on the new infinity expert server (node-5) which will launch in a day or two. Hope you will find me a passable teacher.

well to be fair at least if hes/she is throw in at the deep end no pack will ever be hard for him/her

 

Pretty sure it's a he, cause 'lad' is male but 'lass' is female.

 

I would tekkit is the best place to start, easily eases you into the modded world

 

I recommend tekkit too, my first modded minecraft experience is from it.
