Done Public enderchests

I'm wondering if it's a punishableoffence to steal if you're taking from public enderchests? Shouldn't people know that they're public?

 

well its taking something thats not yours so i would guess it would be against the rules

 

the person who put something in the enderchest should know the risks beforehand, but i would guess it is, just like how its illegal to grief an unclaimed base.

 

Why is there any need to personalize your ender chest if people won't take stuff out of it?

This can be a very good example of a paradox.

 

people do things that are against the rules, and sadly there are ways to take out of an enderchest without being detected
luckily tho theirs not as many ways to grief without being detected

 

i would go on the bases of always secure your ender chests though both methods are in theory safe

 

Just remember that if your enderchest is not in a claim then a smart thief can link a enderpouch to access your enderchest from their base.

 

I know on ozone if u condense a private enderchest it becomes unprivated but shows it being private i accidently hooked one to my me system......

I'd say in the interest of security to private your ender chest. Otherwise we run in to issues where 2 different players pick the same color code, for say, their quarry. Now who do we ban as both players griefed eachother.

Public ender chests are a gray area and only invite trouble.
