Done All my cows gone... how to prevent?

Hey guys, just used up my two cow eggs, bred plenty of cows. After restart- gone, all gone (not a visual glitch).


Any way to prevent that?

 

no unfortunatly there is no way other then make sure all other mob farms or spawns are far away about 2 chunks as far as i know the system will clear mobs once it hits 30 in a 3x3 chunk area

 

So why did all my cows disappear after a restart?

 

Can I have my two cow eggs back then? There's no way to craft it -.-

 

unfortunatly the no refund rule means you will not be able to get them back

 

Cows are spawning on grass. No need for the eggs.
Also ex compressum adds animal spawn items of their own.
2 wheat = cow spawner.

We actually get cows spawning by accident... And they prevent the spawn of squids, so we have to kill them off.

 

Maybe a little tip try and create a large area for them to spawn and grab a few extra with a lasso or safari net for times like these

 

Just to reply to all of this, cows and other animals were despawning but for now at least after restarts they have stopped despawning or at least mine have.

 

Ya mine got wiped out after a restart.

Have you managed to change islands biome? Coz, as I recon, passive mobs wont spawn in ocean biome and when I tried to change it by /is menu, it was instaclosing when clicked on biome change. Gonna try with Ex Compressum features, as @knoxz mentioned.

So to the topic, any chance for a clarification, when passive animals despawn and when they are not?

 

ive had the same issue on a few servers normal despawning active?

 

This happens on the Project Ozone server as well. Seems to be mostly after a crash. I could never find the source of it.

 

i had it on civ and umm infinity i think it was but it was really annoying im going with blame kcauldron
