As i and all the other beautiful peeps are aware all claims are reset after 2 weeks of inactivity or a month if you do the absent command but thats off topic while helping out a fellow peep in distress on a forum i noticed @SirWill said skyblocks do not get reset i cried a little as i remembered my once beloved ozone island which was snatched away from me by the one and only chaos dragon but than remembered my first days here my first modpack which was agrarian skies and i rushed to see if my laggy base was still there and yes you guessed it ........it was there yes my laggy ME system was there yes my 15+ types of seeds growing at an insane rate yes i had over million dirt in my ME -dont ask why- but most importantly there where MFR chunk loaders still active and machines still running potential causing mass amounts of lag so what is it i ask for ? i ask that the staff mainly the @Admin to delete my island and another islands that may have been sitting there for a while so that the fellow agrarian peeps do not have lag day in day out Your deep regards -King Boss
There is no easy way to manually find the inactive islands. The MFR loaders should load while offline.
Hmm in that case I would suggest u find @Sirimo island I know it caused my fps to go from 60-1[DOUBLEPOST=1460280726][/DOUBLEPOST] They don't my haven't it's been a year now
maybe that would be somethign that could be looked into because that doesnt sound good but then i guess it doesnt matter as much
for example on ozone after slind or sirwill cleared the old island that where no longer being used the lag wasent as bad do you see my point now ?
I believe there is an admin command in the uSkyblock plug in that allows for purging of inactive islands that can be set for a certain amount of of days inactive before it is ran. Its been a long time since I have looked at the plugin personally but I i know its there and I've seen it run on other servers as a way of keeping the map to a manageable size.
Inactive islands unless the player logs in or someone goes there aren't loaded. This isn't some magic bullet bossly. Chunk loaders only works while online. Except for some on the newer packs that for some reason refuse to unload causing issues. The u Sky Block being run is a custom version and lot of the purge and development commands have issues with modded Mc server.
and if the chunk loaders are inactive if a player is offline there is no need for staff to take the time to make this feature and can focus on more important things
FPS lag in no way effects the server performance. Just because your PC cant handle everything going on there, doesn't mean its lagging the server. Although there being a lot going on there could attribute, correlation is not causation. And, as others have said, offline users islands are not loaded, the machines are not doing anything, and they aren't bothering the server. So its nothing to really worry about Your old islands aren't really causing any problems.
But............after some islands where cleared on ozone the lag almost disappeared so tell me how come ?
because you were loading the island which will cause lag or another player was loading it but point still stands
