Replacement punishment for Duping <this is a joke>

after much deliberation with fellow staff members an idea was tossed around for a kind of duper reform program to replace permanent bans. This involves giving them access to a specialty server designed to allow them to work to work off their "ill begotten resources" by building compressed cobblestone for they mym servers. A full pardon is awarded to anyone who completes the program which requires you to craft a single piece of octuple compressed cobblestone by hand. after some calculations we determined the feat would take approximately 155 d 16 h 39 m 30 s* for one individual to complete. we feel this would be an ideal program for those who wish to make up for being cheaters.

*please note that time presented is based on average time taken to craft 4 stacks of compressed cobble (and each level of it afterwards)/10 seconds nonstop without taking account of actual player speed or server restarts/crashes. Applicants results may vary.

Disagree 100% with this, If they are serious duppers they will just do it again and again killing the server's economy with their ill duping. There is only one way to be sure someone does not become a repeat dupe offender and that is to perma ban them and be rid of the problem. Also setting up a server for this alone is not worth the cost of it all. Opening more servers costs money and I do not think anyone would want to spend money just to punish someone that can not follow simple server rules.

Want to punish a duper just take and perma ban them and let them create a ban appeal. Let the managers and higher decide if they should come back or not. Most likely they will end up coming back having a regen base and lost everything anyway and I think that is punishment enough for this type of case.

Just my opinion on the subject.

I think it's hilarious, and I will now go and form an octuple compressed cobblestone by hand to verify the time required. Doing some quick math it would take over 12 thousand double chests to hold all this cobble before it is compressed.

Now, does this have to be dug cobble or is the convict permitted to use a cobblestone generator?
