excuse me while i laugh, it's made on JAVA, it's not optimized at ALL from this, reminder about how GARBAGE the garbage collection is, also: only using a single thread doesn't help either

can't you somehow make a "joined" server where inventory and region files of old claims will be merged from the old n1-n3 maps?

there are still a lot of active players who invested lots of time to their base, and i'm sure they will rather do the terraforming around their chunks than starting over.

(my base is 150k blocks and contains houses of 5 players)

Twiddling my thumbs cause of anticipation, feel like they are gonna fall off if i wait some more. (Though that will not stop me from playing once the server is up)

 

What staff could do is they could run current overworlds on a new server for a week or two just so active players could have a chance of retrieving some of their items (and maybe even whole bases with spatial drives but I'm not sure about their capabilities), therefore getting a good kickstart. But then there might be problems with claims (we don't want 3 people to rob bases of all the players, do we?) and performance (running three additional ~7000x7000 worlds would quite hurt it).
So yeah, let's start anew.
