I just spent two days gathering uncommon materials and a netherstar trying to make an uncrafting table. I check the banned list three times. it's NOT listed or even implied. I know the server has a strict "no item refunds" policy. I'm not asking for the items back. I'm just asking if we can PLEASE have an up-to-date banlist? This is not the first time I've run into this (dont remember what the other item was but it also was not in the list). It's getting where I'm scared to craft anything really complex because it might be secretly banned and I'll be left with worthless parts that dont go in any other recipie... T_T
i can side with this as well, countless times i have ran into banned items where its not even listed on the banned items and you end up wasting your time and resources, kind of ruins the fun for everyone really when they dont have an update banned item list cause you never know nowadays whats banned and whats not due to them NEVER updating it and dont say they do cause i have been on servers of this network where they banned something and forgot to even add it
We are working on a plugin which reads the banned items for each server individually and will update the list automaticly with the updates of the modpack. At the moment it would take an enourmous amount of time to redo every list for every server and check every block if its needed to be banned. So we decided to start the new easier and better system to improve the banning of items which shouldnt be banned on some servers and to provide you a better list. It will still take some time for this will be on the live servers. As far as i know the first tests worked fine
