Done Going Completely Blind from Thaum

So, flux in thaum gives bad times, this is nothing new. However, when you get the Deadly Gaze effect, you go COMPLETELY blind. No sight, you cant see the menu, you see nothing for like 5 minutes. Needless to say, this is obnoxious and its not supposed to do that. Is there a way to disable this effect?

 

Warp is a part of the game. Why are you not managing you Warp? By the time you get enough Warp for that effect, you should already have set up ways to deal with it.

i.e. go take a bath or use soap.

 

Thats not the point. This effect isn't supposed to make you go blind.

Also, aspect fragments from Thaumic Bases disconnects me when i use them

 

Turn your gamma down, and the things I mention are from base thaumcraft.

 

with the thaumcraft add ons and what not i must say booker soap is not enough

My gamma on civ is at 1.0. Any ideas about the aspect fragment disconnecting?

A screenshot would be a pure black screen.

 

Disable warp shaders in the thaumcraft config.

That was an issue in Thaumic Skies as well, it's fine if you don't use the last one in the stack, and you still get research points for it.
