Hey, i am currently in need of yellorium to build a reactor, so i later can have a laser drill get me some. Anyways ive encountered a problem. In the recipe to make Yellorium Dust you need some Pulverized Tin and some Sulfur. Now, i think that this should be changed. The recipe does not use the ore dictionary, meaning that you need TE tin and TE sulfur. So for example you cannot use the recipe if you are making dusts using IC2 and you cannot use the sulfur you get from the sieve. I guess this is a mistake? I will hold off untill this is fixed or untill i know that its supposed to be like this, thanks for any comments regarding this.

This sounds like a modpack issue, so it's down to the actual dev's of the mod not the server staff.

I dont think so, if i recall correcly the server can change recipe's. Meaning that they can fix it right now. And you should be able to use all kinds of sulfur and tin. They are after all still the same metal

I'd assume they could do that but we would have to manually download a patched mod pack with the updated item recipes, I've not done much coding for a minecraft server but for any other work I've done it would follow the same principals.

use the unifier to change ur ic2 dust into te dust.
or use the pulverizer to pulverize.
    both versions are work!
u shouldnt be able to use the sieve dust. because its just 1/4 of an ingot and not 1.

Actually thats all right as it is.
U should use TE machines to get pulverized tin and the sulfur from the sieve is not in the original pack (from adding ic2)

But since this isint the original pack anymore that argument is invalid. Im just saying that pulverized tin and tin dust is, in the essence the same thing. And as seen in every other recipe, for example you can use IC2 ingots as if they were TE ingots.

well then the unifier is your way to get that.
And be thankful since u can get sulfur for free now instead pulverizing tons of coal

@knoxz do you think we should fix it, or keep it as it is? It would be possible, but is it worth it, do we want it?

I plan on using macerators instead of pulverizers, the less materials I have to pull through a unifier the better!

i also using a macecrator. setup a interface to your unifier with crafting recipe ic2 dust -> te dust i am autocrafting yellorium with no problems.
we could setup a new recipe with using ore dict, it would only make things easier. i dont like it easy ;-)
i would keep it as a small challenge.

My current setup with the unifier is also with an interface, it just that that like slows the auto crafting down with like 1 ms ( I hate to wait) xD

I actually prefer it that way, as it makes stuff a little more difficult, which is just generally better for what is meant to be a difficult map :3

Just add another millisecond to the autocrafting xD. I am no longer in need of this recipe so I no longer care that much xD
