I was thinking that if you where to implement a story line it could feature some kind of a big war and the goal now is to rebuild what once was a peaceful world

An ass, or a donkey, is one of the most docile and hardworking creature in the world. Does not complains when you give it garbage to eat, does not kicks you if you beat it, only makes some noise during rainy seasons. Even a faithful dog will bite you if kicked enough, even a cow, if with a calf, will readily spear you if you threaten them. Not so with an ass. I don't understand why people like you compare others with such a saintly animal.
