Now let this be know this is not an attack towards specific members first off Now from what ive heard from many long playing members is that they are deciding to leave MYM because of specific reasons such as: - Staff memebers - Waiting for a new pack (Yes i know Infinity skyblock is classed as a new pack but isnt technically new) Now i understand that the strain staff are under personally and that the people on the staff can only do so much I would hate to see this network go downhill fast, but i do understand what many people are saying as i have experienced the same. Also on a seperate unrelated note, Can MYM build a non fps intensive, decocraft hording spawn, like once please.
Well personally I think this is caused by exam season everyone's studying take @aD0UBLEj and @bosslykpeter who as far as ik are studying
Plus ATM most packs are boring nothing really new Also things are happening and were not being told at all
Thats what alot of people have said Like i know of atleast 20 people who have gone to play other servers
Like id just like to know the communities responce to this, i know you cant cater to everyone but id just like to know opinions of people
Did you notice that it is always the same half dozen or so people discussing these things, whether it is in slack or here?
no i dont notice this sandstroem If what your trying to say is im against MYM you didnt read what i put: now if your personally saying it towards me then ill take that as a attack towards my views I said opinions not saying that a group of people are rebels to the allience that is MYM
No, that is not what I meant. What I meant is that it is always the same group (which includes me) and usually you don't get much feedback from staff these days anyway. Whether it is discussions about certain neglected packs in slack, discussions about interesting packs in the forum or other topics.
I do apologise Sandstoem, i know what you mean we have people who are trying to do get help or people trying to get their pack out there such as CraftMine. Me personally over the last 6 months have felt the gap between players and the staff grow larger and larger
Yeah probably seen as problems by now XD O btw before anyone says become a mod and help, ive been turned down twice so
It feels actually worse from my point of view. I resigned from staff like a month ago and I suddenly wandered from the inside to the outside and I can tell you that this gap is huge. From being informed on the inside to being most of the time neglected/ignored on the outside.
You poor guy, your not only ex mod to say this, like i heard that you cant be yourself as moderators like hmm
Story time I was searching the fourms a few months ago and read about the ddos attacks yes that long ago there was a huge post explaining everything I wana know what happened to this mentality
I think what we need is community leaders who arent staff but bridge the gap between staff and player like, players talk to community leaders and they pass on the players views to the staff but dont actually do staff things
