Is it possible to protect an area in the nether to keep other players from griefing it? Withers are unable to be spawned in the overworld, which leaves those who wish to make a farm basically open to take other players' items. I know it resets every so often, but losing items to another player is worse than losing it when you know that it's being reset in X amount of days or so.

You can claim an area in any deimensin but it will reset after some time so be careful. And if someone is griefong an unclaimed base plz make a ticket so we can A ticket is also a better way of noticing staff of issues or bugs that have been found in the game. Thatsdeal with the player.

I haven't had any problems with griefing, but I recently set up an auto-wither spawner and I was just wondering if it was possible. The golden shovel thing doesn't seem to work on Skyfactory 2. Is there another way?

Nether has never been a place where you can claim. Only the overworld and farmworld use the claiming system, if available on the server.

Okay, thank you! I'll just limit the amount of items I have there to ensure I won't be hit too hard if someone came along and decided to mess with it :)
