this is what chat currently looks like on Nero ->EN<- Spoiler: picture its been like that since the server is up, people just dont care about the ''Speak in english in global chat'' rule And NO, dont tell me to just ignore them, if you have to ignore someone, then they are doing something wrong so, heres the question... whats the point of having rules if you're not going to enforce them?
That is why we have a ticket system I am sure a staff member will talk to them other wise identify the language and translate this message they may not understand you furthermore please understand that there are two servers one German and one English so u on the right one ? English only please
the chat is like that even when there's staff online, maybe not as bad, but it still is. as for me being on the wrong server, you can clearly see from the tips that im on the english server
As this is just 2 people, and it's NERO (EN) and I think these two don't understand english and they're German, you could copy the following phrase to them: Bitte spielt auf NERO (DE) oder unterhaltet euch Englisch, oder nutzt das /tell (Name) System. Danke. If that does not work you should create a ticket and make sure to preserve some screenshots of the chat. EDIT: Ah yeah and btw the way they speak German shows me that they're pretty young, to follow the grammar mistakes. So dont expect them to speak much english, as they didn't have that at school yet probably [DOUBLEPOST=1463151119][/DOUBLEPOST] And they dont speak Dutch and there is no Dutch server, they speak German and there's a German server
up until now ive just been using google translate to tell german people to please speak english in main chat (yes i know google translate sucks for full sentences) it will be nice to know the proper thing to say now Danke schön
Hehe your welcome and if they try to text you back: Ich spreche kein Deutsch. Eine nette Person hat für mich übersetzt.
thanks. I only know enough german to beable to recognise a few common sentences (im in my first year of German in school)
We do try to steer everyone toward English as the rules state but there isn't always a staff member on. Further if you ever feel like a staff member isn't handling a matter or not to your satisfaction please open a complaint. We have a lot of staff to manage over a lot of servers =). Also tyvm for the text. Have a like from me =)
And this is what I got a sec ago: On my way to make a ticket. @edit Ok.... so when I go to Tickets on forums I can't make one? Could not find proper button there :/ Anyways, you can see above screen how community looks like.
hey im going to join the english server from time to time now and direct the german players to the other server. the problem right now is that the german server hit his cap at 96/96 players. we are working on a second server
Its not for no reason rule number 1. Someone should clear that for everyone[DOUBLEPOST=1463172706][/DOUBLEPOST]Like by using a few keywords that only exist in the German language, and message the writer with rule 1 for remind.
As I already mentioned ingame, the biggest point of those pack is to provide it for all the german people who watch this german large youtube project of I think 24 more or less large Youtubers. That's why there is quite the rush on this pack. So it might be also good to stay a bit relaxed in this case and wait until this has been sorted out more. Of course rules are rules, but please keep that in mind. Also, I was on the english server for 20 minutes and literally nobody was talking. Only when some german guys started talking, everyone came out of hiding. At the same time the german server was buzzing like a bee hive. And probably needs some moderator attention. Some of the stuff I read in the last hours would have led to much more drastic consequences on other servers.
No need to get all uptight, it's just a language barrier. Just use the above text and remind them. Keep calm, and move on. Less Q.Q, more Pew Pew.
Ive had an idea. As i've seen that the /channel command is implemented, but not used, you could add a german channel for NERO (EN) as its always some germans on there when NERO (DE) is full.
