So ya see... my laptop that i play on is incapable of having a dedicated graphics card... and these days almost all games require a graphics card to run semi-smoothly... so what should i do? (getting a new laptop/computer is out) any tips?

If you can afford a desktop, then get that.
While you "can" game with a laptop, the price of a strong laptop compared to a stronger desktop... does not make it worth getting a laptop.

the reason i have a laptop over a desktop is because i spend half my time at my dad's house and half at my mom's house and i need the portability of a laptop. also in a few years i will be getting a better laptop anyway, but for now im stuck with this laptop. it is a great laptop just not for graphics.

Then in your case a laptop might be the way to go. As stated above, what your price range?

Check this to get a rough idea of "Budget" gaming laptops.
My main issue with laptops is, they are like consoles, you can not upgrade them. So when your specs are outdated, you need to buy a new one.
With a desktop you could get the latest graphics card for the price of a "cheap" laptop.

The laptop i will be getting in a few years will be better for gaming, but untill then i am not really looking to buy a new laptop, i can wait till then, i am more looking for tips on how to deal with the problems with my current laptop, I am not at home now, but once i do i will find out the specs of my current laptop and the one i will be getting to show you.
as for price range of anything to buy for my current laptop i would say max 100$ (yeah i know not much but o well.)

sadly you can not upgrade laptops.

$100 wont do anything for your laptop.

There are a few small changes you can make with laptops, like upgrading memory, but overall very few that will impact on the issue here.

Really, the only solution is to reduce graphics settings and run as few programs as possible.
