I am about to craft the tome of knowledge as soon as I get home but i noticed in NEI that it doesn't have an emc value, (to use it you have to learn it in your trans tablet) but if it doesn't have an emc value then how can you learn it in the table? If i don't get a reply here I'll just go ahead and make it and post my findings here.
You don't duplicate the tome, you just bind it to one player's research and toss it to another player, they use it and copy all research from the first player.
Yes but usually the tablet won't let you even put something in the table to learn it if it doesn't have an emc value. Is this item an exception?
Nope, like I said, you don't copy it. You make one book, player 1 uses it, they throw it at player 2, who uses it and gets the research. Exactly one copy of the book is all you need, so it shouldn't be able to be duplicated.
