Hello, As of today, 06/29/2016, Mine Your Mind is going to start using Facebook, Twitter and YouTube again. We will use the social media to share important information with all the players and we will allow you this way to subscribe on us, follow us and all other things you want to do with the social media. You can find an overview of our Facebook page, our YouTube channel and Twitter further in this thread. Of course we are open for suggestions on what we can do with the features we are going to use. But for now we will use it to communicate with you, the player of the Mine Your Mind. With this you will be able to receive a notification about important updates, new servers and all other information that might be interesting. But of course are we going to do other things that will be announced in the future. As said before, we are standing open for your suggestion. Feel free to contact us via the forum or post your suggestion in this thread and we hope to see you soon on our Facebook page or as a follower on Twitter or YouTube. How about that weekly update on whats going on as i suggested many times before Getting to know your staff better, like a staff day where you learn more on one staff member MYM podcast on things going in and around by players Polls
I think this is a very cool idea... stuff like the workshop and the arena (DW20 node 1) can be maybe also showcased on facebook with explanations... what I would love to see on the youtube channel are videos on stuff like, how chunk loaders work, how to create a portal and stuff... and the youtube channel could use a redesign.. just saying..
We will surely do our best to do as many as possible things. But as lucid said, you have to start somewhere and this is our start. It are nice things that we can surely do. The tutorials is something we will be working on very soon and a redesign might be possible. Thank you for the nice feedback.
It's a lot of time and commitment. The time was instead used to make this a large stable network. Marketing is nice, but you have to have something to market first
We are currently using the FB to give away the weekly updates as you suggested and do some other interesting things. Beside that, the bonuses for the building competition will always show up first on the facebook and then in the thread. A good reason to check it regulary.

Question is it all going to be in german mainly beacuse I see many people who know fluent english and its the language that you have to use in chat just asking and im also english so Also off topic i could make some videos for you guys to upload to the channel if you want!
It will be for sure English now. I myself don't speak German and I am taking care of it for a part so that would become hard. If you have videos then you can always send them to me on private and we will see if we can use them for sure. Nobody prevents you from doing that.
MYM is based in Germany. The orginal facebook and youtube channels were in German. We will be going forward mainly in English. ninja'd by stijn

Id still like to know a little more about staff, like ive been here nearly 2 years and i hardly know anything about most staff

The YouTube channel gives me an excuse to start learning German again, or at least for the old videos. Love the advertisement and expansion on social media.
