Building Competition #1

I would Participate, but my building skill is more like some one trying to pass a final on a subject they know nothing about, and then some how by a miracle, gets a c.

 

Suggestion...

Since it is required to make a separate claim for the build, maybe give all contest entrants some claim blocks to start with?

 

Do we have to be on a Team. Because I don't have any Friends that play minecraft and I'm super shy with new people. And I would love to be in the Contest.

I wont be competing, but I would like to get a fresh start on a new server, what is the server address to put into the game launcher?

could i suggest a addition to the rules?

* no shader mods or texture packs for screenshots which are used for the voting

because not everybody knows how to use them or has a pc which can handle them, and i think such contest should be about skills and not who has the best pc

(for facebook and gallery stuff they can make new screenshots after the contest)

 

to be fair i think Judges should take screenshot instead of player

 

I will personally make the screenshots that are going to be used and I can tell you that I don't use a shader. The judges will also be asked to not use any shaders or something so that it is all original. Adding a rule about it isn't really required as from our side we won't use it and the participants can still do it for their own gameplay.

 

will the screenshots be taken in the default minecraft resource pack or an assigned resource pack? I ask because resource packs make a world of difference (for instance I can make a cobblestone hut and make it look awesome in some resource packs).

 

Default, we will do everything like how you can download infinity from our launcher, nothing is added nothing is removed.

You can't sign up without the coords, so that's why we are waiting at this moment for the server to go online.

Edit: Also why would you need a second base? Can't I just use my first base as the one to be judged?
