Done Spawn eggs in the market

Hey guys and girls, I come to you as a player not as a staff member, on the old B-Team servers were spawn eggs in the market, and yeah maybe they come back, but that it sth that YOU can decide.

If YOU want spawn eggs in the market then vote YES.

If YOU don't want spawn eggs in the market then vote NO.

I would say that until the mob bug is fixed, we should have spawn eggs of those that wont naturally spawn as well as ocelots (because in all of my travels I have not seen 1 ; ) ). But once this issue is fixed, remove all the ones that do spawn.

 

We need "coven witch" spawn eggs - as everyone starts to master the witchery MOD, they start disappearing when players start forming covens leaving everyone else out in the cold ....

.... and yes, seems extremely difficult to find any ocelots ....

 

Another player suggested that when we redeem votes we get random spawn eggs in addition to our random item until its fixed

 

That happens sometimes, i got yesterday an "Spawn horse egg"

 

That's great. He suggested it so that those people who sell mobs in nets would not lose money, but everyone would still have a chance to get mobs.

 

Be careful with selling MOBS on the market - i tried selling a spawner captured in a porta spawner, and it corrupted my access to the market on old bteam 2.

 

That is why adding an egg (getting random item + random egg) would probably be better. Or making a summon like with cats, dogs and horses. Hold 15 rotten flesh = zombies, 15 blaze rods = blaze, etc.

 

That with the summoning aren't a good idea I mean without "starter" blazes you can't summon a new blaze

Which issue? The thing with the chunk loading?

 

I really don't see any point in spawn eggs in the market. I mean in a way I do but I really don't see a huge need for them. Not many people will buy them if that same mob can be bought from me or others for 5, 10 mym. I can understand coven witches and other rare mobs that can't be placed into a net but I don't think we are at the point that we need them just yet.

 

I agree, I'm always happy and eager to sell mobs I've spent 2-3 hours in farmwolrd to find for 5-10 mym. Only ones that will be needed there are the coven witch I believe.

 

I think you should add spawn eggs in the market because there are those people who get annoyed because they can't find a certain type of mob. And if they have enough money they can get the spawn egg they desire (Not Inc. Bosses)

 

If the issue is fixed, then as Alexis said only certain un-netted mobs should be eggs.

 

Or maybe Spirits for about 3k each. I been searching for them for three days. Haven't spotted a single one.

It has nothing to do with money making. What I was meaning is that mobs were very easy to obtain due to the server being new and plentiful of them. There were a lot of coven witches at the time. The server had lots of mobs to spare so there was no need and there still isn't (if mobs were not off). But taking in account that mobs aren't on and if not turned back on then yes, I do change my previous vote and say yes, there should be.

 

Maybe we should create a list here with the mobname and the price
