You should do another, on the crack pack server. Being fairly new, many people might not just have the materials already on hand and they'd rather have to go gather materials, as many people participating that are early on in the modpack would have to. Really love the idea though.
We are planning to do more competitions, but at this moment we are going to keep it with one at the same time. We need to get the experience again and then we can make more of them. But we are happy that you are liking it.
Well I didn't really mean having two at the same time, that'd be very hard to keep up with, very chaotic. What might actually be smart is to have the first week of a competition on the same days as the 3rd week of any current competition, so people can sign up and start working as the current competition ends. Also, do you have all your judges yet?
To prevent bribe[DOUBLEPOST=1468221018][/DOUBLEPOST]wait i remembered something, Fallout 4 has a karma system, its ur companion
Hm. I wish I could apply for a judge position, however I'm going to be busy and wouldn't be able to be on to judge during this competition. Hoping by the next competition that I'm no longer busy. How would it work if a competing person was chosen as a judge? Would they play both roles, just unable to judge themselves, to keep votes unbiased, or would they immediately be taken out from the competition as a competitor?
We won't pick them as a judge in that case. If you participate you put in a form and with that we can see all the people that are participating.
True, but what if a person is chosen as a judge, but happens to after being chosen, sign up as a competitor? Or will judges be chosen on the last day of the first week?
They will be chosen and informed somewhere at the end of the week. If they prever to play and participate in the competition we will for sure allow them and they can just say it to us.
Hmm.... Whats u mean by Votes from all the players will decide the winner Player: 1 vote point Staff: 2 vote points Judge: 10 vote points
Lol. Ok then. If you ever need help coordinating or another coordinator, talk to me, I'm good at coordinating events.
The top 10 finalists will be chosen. After that, to decide the top 3, a vote will be available. A point system to be exact. The more points, the higher you are on the leaderboard. Each vote from a person is 1 point, each vote from a staff is 2 points, and each vote from a judge is 10 points.
Sadly enough that will be possible in the easiest system. However if everyone votes on his own building then you all have 1 vote and that makes it fair again as in fact it brings it back to zero. However we are currently thinking of something to prevent it, but if it can't be done then so it will be as it saves a lot of time for us. Beside that, @Slind made a nice video about this competition on how it will be working. A link can be found in the main post or video this link.
Have you guys even decided what the special prizes would be yet or no? Or is it not specified cause you've no idea? Lol.
We have an idea of what we are going to do or give away. Just be patient as everything is revealing itself.
That's what I thought. Anyways nice chatting, remember if you have any problems that I can probably help, if you don't mind of course, and I'll see you later. Bye!
(Idk if this is off topic...) SirWill and Slind you've done a good job with the form, even making a video on it. Well done SirWill and Slind, well done.
