Info July 2016 Server Retirements

Hello fellow MyMers,
That time has come once again to retire some of our least popular servers. This is to make way for new server nodes on popular packs, new modpacks, and to improve server performance. While we love each server and poured our heart and soul into making them the best we could, there always comes a time for goodbye. =(

Below is the list of servers the are being retired on July 26th, 2016. As always we'll provide world downloads with the custom mod on the MyM launcher so you can continue your fun filled adventures in single player. Just use /wd command in game to get started downloading.

• Civilization
• C-Team

Poor @johnfg12 he tried so hard with Civilization
C-Team was a poor pack anyway
Beehappy atleast taught us the mod wee all love to hate

I tried so hard to rule over Civilization, but I got lazy in the end.

Poor John? I wouldn't nessicarily call him poor... Civ was very popular for a while when it was released. Civ just lost people's interest because of the many bugs and glitches this modpack had. John did a good job. A good modpack was created, it's just that there were too many bugs and glitches.

 

Usually John is the one taking over modpacks that were poorly done in the first place. So don't blame John.

 

Bees be bad though

 

Well, C-Team obviously wasn't the big successor to B-Team that the creators wanted it to be.

Civilization was successful, but besides from the fact that it had some bugs and issues, it was also just here on mym and didn't get any recognition outside of MyM. That is probably the reason why Thaumic Skies, although nobody plays it, is not retired. I hope there is something in the works to get Thaumic Skies to a wider audience.

Bee Happy, well, as a big fan of that pack and probably the one that nagged Slind long enough to get it in the first please, I was expecting its retirement soon. BeeHappy was never meant to be much more than a pack around bees, so endgame wise there was not that much to do except for a couple of mods that were added more or less randomly. I still think @jtmnf did a good job here. Surely, the pack had some minor issues, but did its intended job very well. I hope we will see a continuation of BeeHappy, maybe in a non skyblock setting with some more interesting integration of mods and maybe some cool endgame.

 

1.9 bees are different to 1.7 so maybe a beehappy 2 in 1.9 you could call it attack of the bees

 

What's different in 1.9 with the bees?
