(1.10.2) Vanilla Anarchy Server

All I can say is I am excited about this server. I'm sure some of you have stuff to say as well.

Let us use this thread to discuss the server. This way we don't litter the other one with chat.

While the server is "Anarchy", that does not mean we cant play nice or form alliances. Below discuss what your goals are for the server? Will you be a leader that builds cities or a tyrant that destroys them?

 

I always had a love for TNT, so lets see where that gets me

But other than that i am excited to try it out, might need to look up some changelogs, bacause i havent played minecraft 1.10 before

Adding protections (that actually work =/ )
NPCs
NPC Houses
Merchants
Jobs
Random spawn chests that announce in chat


The idea/goal:
By placing the random loot chests, NPCs, and Vendors around, it will force players out and about. This allows for more PvP, sneaky tactics, and fun. It also allows us to test/dev/make ready the plugins for other servers that will be coming. This is the MyM 1.10.2 sandbox and I look forward to exploring it with you all.

They are if no one is on console. But since it's in development I gave a small warning just in case... No one is going and reading them on purpose, I assure you.

When I do start playing on the server I plan to be as nice as possible. If others decide to take the opposite approach, I will release my horrible PvP skills on them!

 

You won't need your pvp skills to kill me. Just going out during the night and I am out

 

Will the border be expanded? I was able to run to the edge in about four minutes or so. With the wings you can just about glide across the whole map.

For vanilla, 5-10k is a "decent" world size.


Also, any plans for Towny or another plugin similar? would be cool to have nations and allies.

They added "Wings" to vanilla, you can actually fly with them, if you uses them right... =P

Even after walking/tree jumping for half an hour I still can't break anything, why?

Players are allowed to take your things on this server, nothing is protected. No mods that require client mods to work. Spawn currently has a really crappy protection until we fix the protection plugin
